neglacted

Hello, my name is Doll. I was the little play friend of this blog owners daughter. And although my face doesn't show.....I'm feeling upset and disappointed.

She just pulled me out of the cupboard were she hide me for over 20 years or so. I was totally neglacted!! And look what time did to me...

STAINS..all over!! So sad..also on the only dress I own!
In effort to remove all stains and to let me feel a bit better, she made me a bath with bubbles and some stuff out of this pink container.

So now I'm floating around here..hoping for a clean skin and dress and some LOVE. Somebody save me!!

    Corry.. she is very precious. I hope she turns out ok. Make sure you get her very dry.. so the stuffing inside doesn't mildew. I have a soft spot in my heart for old cloth dolls. :-)

    How can you not love her!!! I also have a rather 'elderly'rag doll called Lucy, who is very special as she helped me through a very difficult time when my DH was undergoing heart surgery ! She appeared as a pattern in a magazine and cried out to come and live with me! Made out of what was at hand (even an old pillow case !)she has survived for 22 years, but she too is looking a bit dusty and needs some TLC !!

    Misschien moet ik ook maar eens een badje in de Vanish nemen; ik heb na iets meer dan 20 jaar ook wel een paar extra vlekjes en vouwtjes zo hier en daar.
    Zonde is dat. Ik hoop dat het werkt. Ik had hetzelfde met mijn poppen van vinyl. Die kwamen na 30 jaar zo gehavend uit hun doos, dat ik liever de herinnering bewaarde dan de echte poppen die gewoon griezelig waren geworden. Fijne dag!

    What a cute doll. My mom made me some dolls with embroidered faces- I love that. I hope she comes out spotless! You are sure to make a new outfit for her, I look forward to seeing that!

    Eerst een bubbelbadje en dan een spa treatment, en dan heeft ze een total-makeover gehad. Ze ziet er straks vast weer uit als nieuw.
