feeling a bit under the weather


I came down with a cold this weekend. I wasn't feeling very well,
all I did was hang out on the couch surrounded by a pile of tissues.
I'm a bit better now, just eat lunch and crochet a few squares.

While hanging on the couch this weekend I tried to make a plan for the swap.
Matching some fabrics...thinking about what colors to use
RED...

red

GREEN...

green

or BLUE...

blue
Or maybe mix colors up...
I found this pattern I thought i lost forever.
It would be lovely to use for the spring swap.

Ofcourse I won't tell here what it is.
It's a BIG secret!!!!
So to make it up I sent to you my monday tulips..

p.s. Thanks for all your good advices regarding my broken teapot.
Sadly it's not possible to glue or restore the teapot. I put it on a shelf in my cupboard for eyecandy, so I still can enjoy!

    Sorry to hear that you are not feeling well. But I think you have all the right medicines you need right now - a nice hot cup of tea, some crocheting to keep your hands busy, some fantastic fabrics to drool over and a pot of tulips to lift your spirits! Feel better soon!

    Allereerst veel beterschap, wat een leuke stofjes laat je zien!
    Ook ik ben bezig voor de swap.
    Heb al verschillende dingen gemaakt, maar vond het niet mooi en byzonder genoeg.
    Nu dan eindelijk met iets bezig wat mijn goedkeuring kan wegdragen haha. Je moet tenslotte iets maken waar jezelf ook heel blij mee zou zijn.

    Oh poor you sick in the weekend! Not a good time for illness. Glad you have some very pretty flowers to cheer you up now. They are just so lovely and the colours are the prettiest.

    Love your piles of fabrics! You have so many very beautiful ones. I've been hard at work on my swap and it's coming along nicely.

    I've been on and off the sofa for nearly a week, too.
    Today, I finally worked on one of my bonnets...getting it ready to smock. It's been pleated for over a week.
    One of my daughter's friends is due to have a baby girl in the next week or so....that has pushed me along to get it going.
    Love your fabric colorways.

    Beautiful teapot, BTW.

    I envy you fabric stores. This weekend while in Amsterdam I ended up in a market fabric store and you know what... I just couldn't decide what to buy having in mind my limited budget and luggage space... I ended up with only two fabrics :/ (ha, one of them is the green with white dots you also have) but I wish I'd have taken the whole store with me.

    Wat een prachtige kleurrijke lapjes allemaal. Door hier naar te kijken wordt je vanzelf wel weer vrolijk hoop ik.
    Ook het haakwerk op de tafel is vrolijk. Ben benieuwd wat het gaat worden.

    Corry, Jan en ik waren een dag of vijf onder de pannen met een heel flinke verkoudheid, maar nu weer kiplekker, het komt goed en doe lekker rustig aan, een beetje haken was precies wat ik ook deed.
    Wat een prachtige stoffen laat je hier zien en dankjewel voor je heerlijke tulpengroet.
