We've got sunshine and although it's cold outside
sunshine makes everything so much better.
More reason for a little happy dance...
We've moved to another internet provider.
Things go much, much faster now.
Downside...this corner in my livingroom!!
Does anyone have any suggestions??
Maybe we just have to build a closet to hide these ugly cabels!
Een grote plant misschien? Ergerlijk altijd dit soort dingen. Ik had het in de tuin. Leuk hoekje gemaakt waar een oud muurtje stond, engeltje er tegenaan, wat klimop. Komt de electricien terwijl ik niet thuis ben. Hubby wilde zo dolgraag buitenverlichting. Nou de afloop laat zich raden...direct bij dat engeltje een loei van een schakelaar. Ken je der makkelijk bij, zal de electricien wel gedacht hebben :-(. Hubby begrijpt nooit goed dat ik me druk maak om zulke 'dingetjes'. Een kast kan alijd nog, eerst maar een heeeele grote plant!

You need a room screen...something beautiful and creative. Just this morning, I was sitting on the sofa looking at the tangle of Wii, satellite, etc. It's crazy. Maybe we should all post our wire pics and you will feel better. Kelly

Gewoon een mooi kamerscherm ervoor zetten, misschien zelfs één dat je zelf mooi bekleed met passende stoffen die je vast wel in overvloed zult hebben, dat denk ik tenminste altijd Corry ;- )
ReplyDeleteSoms droom ik van een draad- en kabelloos leven, wat zou dat geweldig zijn, maar een snellere provider zou ook al een stap in de goede richting zijn. Ik geloof dat de onze juist deze maand meer snelheid gaat geven, ben benieuwd!
Wat zal het heerlijk ruiken bij jullie met die hyacinten, bij mij staat een bridelcrown sterk te geuren en slank te zijn met witgouden kroontjes op haar hoofd. Fijne zondag!

Your granny squares look so lovely! Those cables are a problem everywhere. Maybe a piece of furniture or a big green plant could hide them. Have a nice weekend!
ReplyDeletewij hebben een tijdje een afgedankt WC-hok als printer- en serverruimte gebruikt. maar nu we de wc hebben vernieuwd hebben we alles op de grond en in de kast neergezet ...
ReplyDeleteTja kabels, breek me de bek niet open.... maar je leest het, we hebben er allemaal problemen mee.
ReplyDeleteIk realiseer me wel, dat zonder die kabels onze wereld niet zou zijn zoals nu. We kunnen al onze mooie, leuke, kleurrijke dingen met elkaar delen.
Ik zou gaan voor de grote groene plant.
Als je een scherm neerzet (hoe mooi ook), mensen zijn nieuwsgierig en willen er altijd achter kijken.... weg effect....
Je kunt er ook een kastje neerzetten. Wel de achterkant er uit halen, zodat je altijd bij de stekkers e.d. kunt. Zoiets?
En over "Dutch" en "Blue" gesproken...... ik ben bij Xenos geweest, kon me niet beheersen....

Tja er zijn al heel wat suggesties gedaan hierboven om je kabels te camoufleren... ik kan alleen maar zeggen dat ook ik met hetzelfde probleem kamp!

Maybe you could design a corner shelf. Something like a wooden triangle that is put abobe the plugs, then in the edge you could put some pleated lovely fabric that matches your curtains/sofa fabric; that way you can place your hyacinths on the shelf and hide the cables behind the fabric. or you can make a radiator cover (look for google images with "cubreradiadores" to get an idea. I don't know how it's said in English, but in Spanish it's like that :D)
