One hundred granny squares plus...


a border with scalloped edge later.....
My granny square blanket is finished!!
It's made from left over wool found at my mothers attic.
measurements: 110 square cm.

I really love how this turned out..

  8. We call those afgahns and they will last forever. My mom has a couple that have been around so long I don't know who made them anymore. the colours are so cheery.

  12. Oh Corry! I love it!!! I so want to make one of these. My friend who I am teaching to quilt wants to be able to teach me something she says. So she is going to teach me to make granny squares. I just need to clear up some more old projects first as I have far too much in the works now. Seeing this makes me want to start today. What a great job you did and it is just so cheerful like a pretty old scrap quilt can also be.
