color splash

See these fabrics....I saw them yesterday and just had to buy them all! I had a picture of a tea house cozy in my head......

color splash fabric

And voila...see here the result after an evening spent behind the sewing machine.
A pretty coincedent is that the colors are a perfect match with the new china!

Have a nice weekend! I'm of now, go to sew another teahouse cozy.

secondly, how do i buy one of these - they are just gorgeous - do you sell them in your shop?

Hey Corry,
It was good to hear from you!
I have your blog on my blog list favorites. I check every day or so to see what all my quilt bloggies are up to, but I have a naughty habit of not leaving comments.
Sorry, I know I should, but I need to get in the habit. I really enjoy your blog, it was among the first I read when I entered this virtual quilt world! The fabric colors you enjoy and use are stunning, so it is no wonder that all your little creations are so sweet. I promise to be a better blog friend and leave more comments when I visit! :-) ~Moorea

I love it. It is really neat how well it ended up matching the china. Even if it did not match the china it is still lovely. I just finished hand quilting a top. Isn't it a nice feeling to complete an item and be happy with how it turned out.

I've only just found your lovely blog through House on Hill Road's flickr mosaic, which featured your fantastic teacosy. It's beautiful. I have been making similarly appliqued doorstops...but that teacosy is divine. I love your colours.
