Summer?

Where's the summer? Today yet another day with rainy wet cold weather. It feels like autum!
Forced to stay inside I finally caught up with my mountain of ironing today, thank goodness!
And I managed to made the last stitches on this dove. I'm trying to catch up on this BOM as well. I'm months behind!

Don't know why I'm behind because this really is a lovely work to do!
Also made these cards. A quick and easy job...sewing fabric patches on cardpaper using gold thread

That's just what I like ....minimal effort, maximal result.

Have a nice monday!

Isn’t it awful...? They’ve promised sunshine from Thursday on... I really hope so. All those poor people on camping-grounds celebrating their holidays!

The only ironing I do these days is needed for my quilts-fabrics...!

Love your stitcheries and cards!

Cold there? My gosh, it's in the 90s here again today and so humid that it isn't funny! Trade?

Your embroidery is so sweet - I've been looking at that SAL for awhile and might have to break down and do it. Like I need another project! lol

Nice cards :o)

We have bad weather here in Nor Cali as well. Hoping the summer returns tomorrow. Too bad I have 2 kids cooped up in the house. Great cards and adorable embroidery.

We have been the same, but at last today some sun. I hope it lasts and that your weather improves too!

Sorry to hear you having a rainy summer. We're in the sunshine with hot temps. and I'm wishing for a rainy day!

Lovely idea you used for sewing fabric onto cards, they're so charming. Your stitchery is so sweet with your fine stitches.

Your card idea is very cool! Wish it was cooler and rainy here. Can I bring my ironing over?;)

The hot weather is on its way so I am enjoying this while it lasts. I am not a fan of heat. We may go up to Friesland an extra day this week if Jos can manage to take Friday off. Yeah! Love the cards. What a cute idea. I am doing Noah's Ark too and they are great fun. I have to start on my elephants as I have been too busy with the new sampler quilt I just started. First I will finish the tutorial I am also making for the blog on Friday and then I will focus on those elephants. So many fun projects and never enough time!

Any news on the baby front?

Hugs en groetjes ~
Heidi

Sweet cards. Will they be in your Etsy shop? Sorry no sunshine for you.
We are having unusually cool weather here in California, USA. It is just beautiful despite all the wildfires burning.
