building an ark
The titel sounds like a lot of heavy work is going on around here!
Well, not yet... I don't hear any hammering and sawing at this very moment but....there is a slight possibility that this can change real soon!! That is if I can convince DH how much fun it is to make this arc and its animals!
I saw it in this book; and I love it.
And now a little update on the other arc!
As I told you in March, I joined the stitch-along Noah's Ark BOM from Lynette anderson designs.
The first month "two rabbits" is finished. Please keep in mind this was my first stitchery attempt.
I'm still working on month 2 "the dove".
Month 3 "rainbow and cows" and month 4 "the kangaroos" are waiting patiently to be next.
I'm in no hurry, its a pleassant little work to do in between and its lovely to see it grow.
I'll keep you posted, till next time!

That wooden arch will be wonderful to make! your first stitchery? It looks great! Have fun making the others!
That wooden ark is incredible and your stitchery is fab - especially as a first attempt!!! Lucy x
Kissing rabbits - they are beautiful :)
Wonderful stitching! You have chosen some tiny designs to start with - they will test your eyes out. I have been tempted to do these little stitcheries myself & seeing yours may just be the inspiration I need!
I have the dove and rabbits finished too!!
It looks like you have been stitching for years! I adore this stitch-a-long. These animals are so cute. I am still on the rabbit one. I was silly and am using a harder stitch for the rabbits so it is taking me longer. I should have just done the backstitch like you. I enjoy reading about your adventures and look forward to many more. Love Stacy
I am sure you will convince him that it is necessary to build that arc :)
Your rabbits are lovely! And that wooden arc is great, you DH MUST faal for it ...
Groetjes, Carolien
Sorry: fall for it ...
Love the wooden Noah's Ark! Do you do woodwork yourself or will your DH help you? What a fun thing to make. I am stitching the Noah's Ark blocks too. I just got caught up and posted them on NeedleNecessities if you want to see them. They are great fun to do aren't they?!
Hugs en groetjes ~
Heidi
Corry- Great first attempt at stitchery. It is going to be so cute! The ark is cute. Lots of little cuts.
That will be a fun project for your hubby! ;o)

Corry, I would never have guessed this was your first stitchery. It's fantastic. Beautiful work (as always).
Can't wait to see each month's work...

I'm also stitching them and having lots of fun! Your's look great!
So glad to see that you are doing Lynette's BOM. I am too!! It was also my 1st attempt at stitchery and I am loving it. Yours is absolutely beautiful. I am now doing my cows then onto the kangaroos. It is so much more fun building an ark this way!
I love the noahs arc good lock with the husband... your stitchery is very good.
Loving the rabbits ;-)
Your stitching is beautiful and these are so cute to do...I am working on them, too. I love your idea of making a wooden Noah's Ark. Maybe we could start a wood-working challenge?!
i think the ark looks like a wonderful project to make.
i love your stitching - i'm hoping to get into it once i master the art of quilting. too many hobbies, so little time!

Your stitching looks wonderful...I really love the Two by Two blocks!
lovely stitching! I hope to once sit down and learn to stitch like that - have never done it before and would love to learn. I love anything with a Noah's Ark theme, so can't wait to see that project!
