tea time

tea cozy

It’s four o’clock, time to sit down, put my feet up and enjoy a nice cup of tea.
Usually I drink tea only in the morning when I’m having breakfast and then drink coffee for the rest of the day.
But I’m trying to cut down on coffee so that’s why I’m having tea now! Rooibos ( red bush Tea) or earl grey, those are both my favourites.
Just wondering what is your favorite tea? I like to try more flavours, so do you have any recommendations?
DS baked cookies...hmm.. they taste better then they look! You should see my kitchen now!

tea cozy
I made this tea cozy from the Dutch fabrics I recently bought. The pattern is my own design and it fits perfectly around the teapot keeping the tea warm!
Well, I pour myself another cup and eat another cookie before they are all gone!
Have a nice day!

What an adorable tea cozy. An I really love your log cabin posted below. Such fine detailed work you do. Can you tell me the size of the finished "logs."

Hi Corry,

Your tea cosy is gorgeous - love the colours and the little window. I like good strong "English" tea! Yorkshire Tea is my favourite make - just plain and ordinary! I used to love Earl Grey but it made me nauseous when I was pregnant with my eldest (11 years ago!) and I no longer like it.

Hope you enjoyed your tea-break.

the curtains on your window are adorable.

I just love your tea cozy! Maybe someone should organize a tea/quilt swap of some sort next year... Not that I'm volunteering.

Favorite teas? Lately - there's a Lipton blue fruits that I like. I love the Nordqvist Finnish teas - especially Emperor's Bride and Faithful Friend. I also really like STASH chai spice tea.

Gorgeous tea cosy - I'm very lazy and just make mine in a mug with a teabag. I like strong tea - Assam or English Breakfast, and like Lucy I drink Yorkshire Tea.

you tea cosy is fantastic! it's so cute - very clever!

i like english breakfast tea - i don't have milk in my tea so i like the more gentle flavours. i don't think there's anything nicer than a good cup of tea out of a beautiful china cup - it makes the tea taste so much better. love your cups and tea pot too!

cheers

Cute tea cozy. I love the colors.

I like Earl Grey tea but my favorite is Jazmine tea. I don't care for any tea with cinnamon in it.

Your tea cozy is so beautiful! You are very talented. I love your blue and white tea set. Aren't blue and white dishes comforting?

Have a cookie and a cup of tea for me, and enjoy the rest of your day.

Oh Corry the tea cosy is adorable, and your cookies look very yummy. I'm a breakfast tea girl, don't like herbal teas, I think they all taste like flowers....lol.. and earl grey is like dirty dish water......

Oh it's adorable ! Beautiful fabrics, and such a clever idea for the curtains at the window !

I'm not a tea drinker (rather coffee addicted and sometimes a breafast tea with milk), but I'd love pouring tea, just to use this lovely tea cozy...

Didn't you ever think about selling your own patterns ?

Smiles !

Adorable tea cozy! We drink coffee and tea, coffee in the morning and tea at night. Usually it's PG Tips, but I also like mint or peppermint teas when I'm in the mood.

Your tea cozy is just ADORABLE!!!
I'm a tea-aholic! Can't get enough of that stuff. I like jasmine green tea(jasmine pearl), black tea (fruit flavored like peach and passionfruit, mango is good, too), breakfast tea and darjeeling. I like Ahmad tea brand.

Oh, it is too cute! What a clever design and so perfect for the fabrics you selected! My favorite tea is English breakfast tea by Fortnum and Mason and it is so very difficult to find in the US now, you hardly see it anywhere anymore. These days we buy something similiar from the ubiquitous Starbucks which seems to be the only blend that comes even half way close. Isn't tea a lovely daily ritual?! And even more so with your beautiful table setting!

That tea cozy is wonderful!!! I really do need to find my teapots! I love tea (can't stand coffee) -- some of my favorites are from here:

Though my absolute favorite isn't even, technically, tea:

Anything they make is just yummy!
