dollquilt

P1010167

Yesterday I made the binding around this little dollquilt. It was fun and easy sewing the blocks for this one. Maybe I'll make a big quilt too, some time?

Isn't this sweet! I bought these fabrics last saterday. My sister and me bought the same package. We both gonna make something from this fabric and don't show it to the other until it's finished. I can hardly wait to see what she's gonna make!
I also have a new toy, this easy to make yoyo's thing. And easy it is! The photo is a bit blurred, but believe me, the hearts really look great.

What a cute little doll quilt! Seems like half the quilters in blogland are making doll quilts - and no wonder as they are so much fun. I love the 30's reproduction fabrics.

I have 3 of the yoyo makers but haven't had a chance to try using them yet.

Congratulations on winning my drawing1

The doll quilt is so bright and colourful, wonderful for any little girl. It has inspired me to make one for my little grandaughter. I make lots of yoyos but still do not have a yoyo maker, I will have to treat myself to one. The heart shapes look cute.

Cute doll quilt. Enjoy the fabrics. I would love to see photos of both of the quilts made with the same fabric.

That doll quilt is adorable! And aren't those yo-yo makers fun? I have the flowers and the circles (oh, and one of the hearts too -- but I haven't tried it yet). Soooo easy and so much fun!

Such a lovely doll-quilt! The fabrics, are they 1930’s. I bought them some time ago! What’s your favourite fabric shop?

Thanks! My favourite fabric shop is at my mothers attic! She has a large collection of fabrics from more than 30 years back till this present. And I like the quiltshop in Denbosch and Schering en inslag in Woudrichem. Actually I can't past a fabricstore and not go in!

Corry, your little doll quilt turned out so cute! I think you should do a big one, too. I've seen several people are happy with the yo yo makers. I'll have to look them up at the store. Your hearts looks very nice.
