cross-stitch cushion

We've got some lovely sunshine today. It's so nice to sit outside put my feet up and rest from a day at work. And to take my mind of things...there's nothing better than making cross-stitches. I only had a few left to do, so now this cushion is finished.
And it fits perfectly in the bedroom next to the Billy bookcase!

I'm really pleased with the result. Thanks to the Hema, I'm thinking of buying more pillowcases in other colours.

Beautiful stitching Corry, and you are so right, that it clears the mind. There's a Hema in the center of my village, so I'll be sure to pop by!

Lovely Corry! Stichting clears the mind indeed!

I couldn’t find the cushion covers at the Hema. Are they on the shelves with decoration cushions stuff or with the bedsheets ?

You have done such beautiful work again.
Congratulations on your card, that is a great honour--how could they have resisted such a pretty picture.
The handquilting you chose for your white spaces makes it look like lace. It is absolutely delicate.

OH OH OH!!! I just adore this Corry! I just got back from a day out in Elburg with a girlfriend. We were totally disappointed that the stitching shop was closed and went to Hema where we both bought a stack of these kussensloops. I now cannot wait to start one ... or I could send them to you and you have done them just perfectly. :) I need to send my friend your blog link so she can take a look. Did you see my last WIP finish on my blog which was a pillow made from a sampler?

Congratulations on a wonderful job well done!

Hugs ~
Heidi
