after all the jam is eaten

Bonne Maman confiture comes in lovely shaped jars with a checkered lid on.
After eating all the jam don't throw away the empty jars.
They are handy for storing buttons, beads, needles etc.....
And they look great too!

Bonne Maman confiture jars

Thank you MIL for eating lots of jam and saving the empty jars for me!

I use jam jars like this too. I have some very small ones that are really cute. I also have some that had a push on lid instead of a screw on. They were designed to be saved as drinking glasses. I didn't have to buy any cups when they were selling jam like that.

I have some of these too! They look great but I've never tried a pyramid with them - so they look still better!
The little jars with food for babies are good as well - I've kept some when my grand daughters were babies.

I always have the bigger jards with the red and white lids. They are great indeed for storage! It}s agood thing you don’t have to eat all that jam by yourself!

They are definitely too cute to toss. I love your arrangement and what you have in them. Gives them such notable character.

LOVE those jars!! Our Bonne Maman jam jars are a different size. We save them to store leftovers and also use them as drinking glasses.

Miss having those dual purpose jars like the Nutella or mustard that came in a jar that when empty became a drinking glass. My kids laugh still everytime they use one of them.

Yes, these are so lovely Corry. Here in the States, I have not seen the shape or purple colored lids of Bonne Maman. Ours are imported Red and White, and have a wider shape. I use the empties for many things, once making hanging votive candleholders with them. I love the look of yours.

What a lovely display....

too bad people can't "see" the potential... instead of buying PLASTIC 'pretty' bins and containers..
