granny squares

in case I made you curious about that wool on my plate (previous post).
I picked up the crochet needle again, found some pretty wool and start crocheting squares.

Very pretty and colorful. I was cleaning out my crochet basket today and found a bunch of squares. I really do need to do something with them.

Awesome. I was just recently thinking of doing some granny squares in crochet but haven't yet got my yarn purchased but I have some Red Heart acrylic that I may use in the meantime and then eventually do one in some wool. I haven't crocheted in years and years and it just seemed like something fun to do again.
