Just another Tuesday

It's still winter outside and I'm sitting cozy upstairs in my own little space.

attic view

Drinking coffee and eating kitkat's, they are low in calories, you know (lol)! I'm looking at family pictures I picked up from the store this morning. They turned out great. Luca's first time in the snow.

coffee break

Here is Daantje (that's her name)with her gorgeous flowery apron on.
Isn't she cute? She's posing for me so I can take her photograph.

Daantje

drinking tea

You can see she loves flowers by the cross-stitch flowers on her apron and the roses on her dress.

apron

I made a start on Daantjes friends. They don't have all their bodyparts yet and one needs a face. But the girls aprons are done!

waiting to get finished

I'm going now, make myself a second cup of coffee!
See you next time!

Hi! My name is erica. Would you be my friend? said...

I love those dolls. I'm surprised to find that you embroider the face after you make them...I do my embroidery first. I'm not as skilled as you...

I've been snacking on almond pizzells this morning. Mmm... Kit Kats are also a favorite here...my daughter calls them Kitty Kats. :)

I love the little changes in each one - like the hair and the aprons!

I just found your blog before Christmas and I wanted to tell you that it's lovely. Your quilts and other crafts are wonderful and with all my love to the Netherlands, I also get a glimpse into the Dutch world. So thank you!

I think if you eat KitKats before Noon they actually burn calories for you....at least that's what I like to think! ;D
Did you make the hat in the snow photo?

I'm curious. Do you sew on the face after you stuff them? It looks like it. What kind of thread do you use for the faces? I'd like your tips for the face, as I love them and plan to make your angel ornaments.

I love your dolls and thanks for the jam bottle idea. You are such a talented lady. Cold here in the US but not too bad today. I am getting my yearly fianceing straightened out not as fun as sewing but I plan on doing some later. Have a blest day
