I have the most lovely teapot I use for serving tea....
It's the same most lovely teapot I use as a vase for flowers......
From this moment on I can only say USED FOR....
Because....
Look, there is a hole in the pot!!
A hole in my most lovely teapot!
I have only myself to blame (luckily for my family members, LOL).
Well, I suppose I'll get over it....
Craft news, I added more squares to this granny blanket (it will become a blanket). I only use wool from leftover projects found on my mothers attic.
And here is a house keyhanger.
I made several before to give away as a gift.
Have a nice day!

Maybe you can fix it with porcelain glue? Such a shame, you’re the one to blame!
Very sweet keyhanger!
Aw what a shame. It was so pretty. i'm sure the tea tasted better in it too :-)

Argh ! such a shame about the lovely teapot. Why is it always our most loved that gets smashed ?When(in my house anyway), horrid looking football mugs go on forever!
Loving the granny square blanket, I'm making one too, for my daughter and my thumb is sore from spending hours churning out the squares !
OMG! What a pity! As Nicolette said can't you fix it with glue?
It is sooooo lovely!
Ahh shame about the lovely teapot. :( Your granny blanket is looking great!

it's the most charming teapot despite the little hole! your crafts are looking gorgeous as always!
Oh my goodness. Now your lovely little teapot's job is to be lovely. Maybe it was tired and had a plan to be eye candy only. Hop on eBay and find a new one. You will feel better in no time. ~Kelly

How disappointing - it really is such a pretty teapot. Hopefully you will find another tea pot to treasure. Your little house key hanger is super sweet.
Oooooh no! I love your tea pot! It looks like a PIP Studio tea pot. Gorgeous! And now it is broken. I am so so sorry. I bet it was that typical "I am going to break this tea pot if I don't..." and then it happens before the thought is finished. That is terrible.
And by the way, I just found your blog a little while a go and it is very inspiring. You are very good at what you do. The keyring is adorable. I like that it is so simple.
Oooohhhh man, what a shame on the tea pot... I just can't get over it. Hope you feel better soon.
Ciao!
Your teapot can still be used as a flower pot! Just put a plastic container in there, perhaps an old yogurt container, and...voila!
Your teapot is still lovely, hole and all! Love the keyholder, such a cute idea.

I'm so sorry about your tea pot that is just so sad. But its still very pretty!
X Maureen
Very sad about the teapot. I hate it when pretty items get chipped!
I'm sorry your teapot is no longer able to serve you tea, but it makes a gorgeous vase for your tulips!
Just stick a little putty in that hole and it will make the prettiest vase!
I am going to be learning the granny stitch also, I want to use the leftover cotton from all my dishcloth projects:)
Corry,
Now, I really want to crochet up some granny squares! So, sorry about the lovely pot is it still useable?
Oh wat jammer nou!!
Je sleutelhanger is heel erg leuk. IK ben zelf dol op huisjes.
aaaawwww....that's so sad! I love that teapot!
That's a sweet keychain. I would have a hard time using because it'd get all dirty!
Your blanket is coming along very nicely! It's fun to use up scraps, isn't it?
With a piece of a plastic bottle in the teapot you can still use it as a vase!!
I love your granny blanket and key-hanger, they are gorgeous.
Such a beautiful teapot - but it is a wonderful idea to use it as a vase!
Groetjes,
Karin
So many pretty things in this post! I love your photographs.
I am so sorry for your lovely tea pot, I even remember the post when you first got it and you were so happy to have it.
When my mother passed away I found a sweet little tea pot in her cupboards it was sunny yellow, it had a hole in it like yours, I suppose that's why she did not use it,I just could not toss it away, today it sits in my cabinet and I am just happy to have it.

EVERYTHING that you make is adorable!!! That is a shame about your beautiful teapot, I'm sure you can fix that hole with something.
oh how sad for the teapot... but you could still use it as a vase I think, only don't pour water up to the top ;)
Oh no! I guess you will have to put another one on your wishlist! The blanket is looking lovely!
Corry, I just noticed that your beautiful tea pot pattern looks just like the lovely calendar book your sister sent me. It must be by the same designer. It is just wonderful! Your little key chain is so sweet. Looking forward to your next project! Elizabeth
oh - poor you.
it was such a pretty teapot. i hope you can find one equally as beautiful to replace it with.

OOh that is the most beautiful tea pot! I love following your blog and seeing all the beautiful pictures you post!
Oh Corry! How sad! But the flowers looked just so beautiful in there, maybe it was meant to be. I wish we lived closer, I so want to learn the granny square thing! :) Nichole
There are some companies that do china repair and restoration. I don't know what it would cost, but if you really love your teapot--and it is beautiful--you might inquire at one of these businesses.
so sorry about your beautiful teapot - however it does look lovley with the flowers displayed in it.

Perhaps someone else has already said it but I would suggest you find the right size bottle and slip it into the teapot and you would still be able to use it for flowers. Might be worth a try.
In the town where I live is a great restore from old parts. I think if you search there should also find someone who can do this work.
Do not stick because it may cause prejudice in the restoration. Put a glass bottle and continue to use it with pitcher not to degrade it.
Stumble this teapot.
Oh no! Can you still use it for flowers if you are careful not to put water past the hole or is it cracked too far? Love the keychain and I am sure anyone will treasure them! What a great gift.
Hugs en groetjes ~
Heidi
Such a lovely lovely teapot! Here in Sweden we have a tableware that's called Kurbits and it's almost like your teapot
I love it! I want it! ;)
I read you blog every day to see if there's anything new. I like it!
I've got a lottery at my blog to celebrate. I would be happy if you joined! =) You can win an crochet hanger or a "princesscake".
Love all of the tulips! sandi
