Thank you so much for your kind birthday wishes.
It's almost a week later now and I've been so busy with work.
This is my first day off and I finaly had some time to catch up with blog reading and to post.
February the 6th was a happy cake eating and gifts unwrapping day.
This book was one of my presents
It contains some wonderful stitchery projects.
Like this needle book, I love to make this sometime.,
Heleen spoiled me with this most gorgeous bag.
Lucky me... to have a sister who can make such handsome bags!
This morning the streets were snowy white and a bit slippery, again!
I can't wait til this winter is over. I just about had it with the cold!
To keep warm I even added an extra quilt on the bed with the tacking cotton still in it!
This dutch folklore only needs one side of the binding sewn on.
I can do that this evening.
But....
p.s. Dear swap friends,I find it so lovely that some of you write emails back and forth and become swapfriends. How neat is that!!

So wonderful to hear you had such a good birthday. The bag from your sister is beautiful!! It is still snowing and cold here in the States...and I wish for Spring so badly!
Take care and good day!
Spring is arriving in the damp northwestern corner of Oregon...hoping you dethaw soon. Happy Belated birthday!
Happy belated birthday!
I love the look of your book, especially the little house sachet on the cover :)
it's never too late to congratulate, dus alsnog gefeliciteerd!
(en die kou moet nu maar eens voorbij zijn!!)
OMG! I failed your birthday!!! I'm so sorry. But "better late than never" I whish you everything good in all days to come!
Oh, please please show more photos of your house! I love them. Years ago when I quilted, my dogs would get underneath and sleep next to me in the chair while I quilted.

Oh Happy Birthday!!! Sorry I missed it! So glad you had such a good one! I am loving this swap thing...and enjoying all the emails from my new swap buddy who is just the best! Nichole
Nice gifts! :) Glad you had a nice weekend.
Looks like you had a happy birthday! What a beautiful bag too!
Stay warm!!
Megan
Corry what a wonderful birthday you had! Helen's gift is priceless.
You made me laugh with your P.S. because my swapfriend and I have been sending emails to one another and its nice to know its the same for others as well. This swap proves that no matter how far or close we are to one another--we are all the same and want the basic same things out of life. :)
I do so love coming here to see your lovely projects!
Belated Happy Birthday.
Love the bag your sister made for you, it is awesome!! And that book~ I would choose it for myself, I love her work.

I'm happy that your Birthday was such a nice one. I'm also one that is so sick of the cold and I'm hoping for a warm spring!
What lovely birthday gifts. I bet you will be busy with all those wonderful projects in that book. Have fun.
Maureen
I enjoy the cold and snow but really don't like the ice we have now. We could not go to our cottage this weekend as there is solid ice on the dirt road in the woods there. But soon spring will come...
I have a heavy quilt over a thermal blanket on our bed and it is pure heaven. Your new quilt looks great on your bed. And the new Dutch quilt is coming along nicely.
Your book looks wonderful. I agree it is wonderful to have a sister to make you that amazing bag! Enjoy using it.
Hugs en groetjes ~
Heidi
Hi Corry,
I signed up for the Swap, but I don't seem to have an email yet....could you please check and get back to me? Thank you! Sandy
http://521lakestreet-sandy.blogspot.com my email is sanjos333@yahoo.com or sanjos333@gmail.com...they both go to the same folder.
Happy Valentine's Day Corry! What a beautiful bedroom you have with such wonderful book cupboards! A dream come true! Thank you for all of the beautiful flower photos. Our cold snow weather has made it impossible for the florists to get Valentine's Day flowers to our stores. The ones that make it are a little sad looking! Also thank you for sharing your February calendar. I just love it! Elizabeth

oh I love your colours in the quilt! gorgeous
Corrie:)
Corry,
Happy Belated Birthday! You and I have something in common! :) Yes, I got your emails! Thank you so much!!!!! Sandy
Belated Happy Birthday and many more to come. I've just discovered your blog through Attic24. I love your quilts....and I also love the run of glass fronted storage in your bedroom. Great idea I may copy. Kind regards from Joyce in Northern Ireland.
Lovely gifts Corry!
While I write this comment, it’s snowing again!
I"m so sorry about the hole in your teapot! I guess it can only be used to display now.
I love the log cabin quilt on your bed!
And I really like the look of that little heart needlecase project from your book.
what a lovely gift and what inspiring images.
Enjoy.
Corry, Happy Belated Birthday! I am sorry I missed the exact day. It sounds like you had a nice one. Your bookshelves are from Ikea? We are thinking of doing them in our living room. I absolutely love the glass doors, we must have those! I had fun playing on the design page designing my room with bookcases I could move about. Have a good week!
